Welcome

I want to welcome you to the Virginia Legislative Black Caucus Foundation (VLBCF) Web site.  This site was created to extend the Foundation’s outreach efforts to communities across the commonwealth of Virginia.
 
The VLBCF seeks to promote the education of minority communities on key issues to include: housing, health care, education and economic development. We are uniquely positioned to address the challenges facing minority communities today.
 
It is our hope that the web site will serve as a tool to raise community awareness of issues, and provide information on services and opportunities which might aid in addressing some of the issues plaguing communities.
 
The Annual VLBCF Conference is the Foundation's signature event.  Resources from the conference are used primarily to support our Minority Political Leadership Institute, designed to develop future minority leaders.  Funds are also used for research to provide guidance on issues during the annual General Assembly session.
 
It is my hope that the site serves as a vehicle to strengthen our community relationships and provide education and information to new and current supporters, and our many community partners.

We look forward to working with you as we address the many challenges facing our communities.
